Horn Lake Middle School Library Policies
Students may check out up to 2 books at a time of their choice.
You can check your account by logging into Destiny above. This allows you to see what books you have checked out, place books on hold, and check fines.
If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, the student who checked out the book is responsible for the replacement cost of the book.
Books are checked out for a period of 2 weeks. A fine of ten cents per day is assessed for overdue books. You can renew your books at the library without having them with you. Just let Ms. Linneman know!
Students visit the library with their ELA teachers to the library every two weeks. Study skills classes also come to the library every two weeks. The library is open for students to come at break, in between classes, or during lunch. Students can also come to the library during any class time with their teacher's permission.

Don't forget, you can print off the with a Book Match form (find it in file manager) and turn in to Ms. Linneman for some book recomendations!
