I am originally from Hollandale, Mississippi, but I currently reside in Southaven, Mississippi with my husband of  nine years and our two children, Kyndall Grace, age 8 and Mason, age 6. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, as this is my 15th year as an educator.

My favorite pastime includes making memories with my family and recharging by cuddling up with a good book. I try my best to help my students realize just how satisfying reading can be. I've yet to find anything else that allows me to be in two places at once.  

My passion for educating the WHOLE student has been the glue that helps me hold fast to this journey as an educator. I predict it'll be the glue that keeps me holding on for years to come.  

I'm a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi where I majored in English. HOTTY TODDY!!! GOSH ALMIGHTY!!!

I received my Master's Degree in Leadership in Education Administration from Capella University.
