Education and Experience:

This is my 10.5 year as a Mississippi educator. I served 3 years at Robinsonville Elementary in Tunica, MS as a ELA teacher. Then, I served 7 years at Southaven Middle school as a 6th grade Science teacher. I became apart of the Horn Lake family Jan 2023. 

My favorite topics to teach: reading comprehension, geography, cultural diversity, poetry, The US States, and Cells and Biology.

Certification(s):

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading, English, and Social Studies. I attended The University of Southern Miss. To The Top!! I am currently working towards earning my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College. 

Personal Info:

I have 3 children that are 13, 8, and 3. I enjoy yoga, traveling, hiking, gym, rock climbing, concerts, and cooking. I am passionate about teaching and running. You will most likely see me at any and all local races and marathons!
