Be safe! Hope to see you really soon!

Bio
Education
I received both my Bachelor of Arts and my Master's degree from the University of Memphis. I am currently working on my EdD in Educational Administration via Bethel University (St. Paul, MN).
Experience
I have been teaching for 16 years, and I love every minute of it!
Welcome Parents and Friends,
My name is Kerri Hall. I am highly qualified and certified in both Tennessee (K-8) and Mississippi (K-6). I worked on several leadership teams and Saturday schools organizations. I have experience as a Title 1/Testing Coordinator, 7th grade team lead, ELA grade chair and mentor. This is my fifth year as a 6th grade ELA instructor for Horn Lake Middle School.
Before I came to HLMS, I worked for Shelby County Schools. I have experience in both charter and public schools. Before I began my career in education, I worked for the Central US Earthquake Consortium for five years. We collaborated with the eight state emergency management agencies surrounding Tennessee, FEMA, the USGS, and the American Red Cross. We also partnered with CERI (The University of Memphis) in educating schools on the New Madrid Fault and earthquake preparedness.
Teaching is not just a job; it's a lifestyle. I love our students, and I look forward to working with you throughout the school year.
